A beautiful day in DeKalb County for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate our new public green space at Park Place. 😎 The event was symbolic of the shared experiences that can happen in our public spaces every day, and we were happy to join the Dunwoody community in celebrating! ✂️ We also unveiled a beautiful new mural by Juliana lupacchino 🎨 Photos by Laure Pascal Glorieux

"We don’t own the streets we walk on but in our head, they become our moments." -- Trent Thompson, artist. 🎨Trent is co-owner and partner of the Oakland, California-based creative collective ABG Art Group, with Sorrell Raino-Tsui and Erika Enriquez. They designed and created the “Tunnel of Love / Welcome to Beautiful Alamo, California” mural as part of EDENS’ revitalization efforts after acquiring the 200,282 square-foot Alamo Plaza Shopping Center in 2022.The complex mural project took six months to complete, in three parts. Thirteen smaller murals, described by Trent as ‘postcards,’ depict iconic Alamo landmarks like Mount Diablo, Oak Hill Memorial Park and Summit Ranch Equine Center. ABG Group collaborated with the Alamo Historical Society and longtime residents to capture local stories.Come take a stroll with us!https://lnkd.in/ekfbyEdj
