We are grateful for everyone who joined in Celebrating Her Freedom by meeting the challenge of a generous donor! Together, and with our friend who matched all donations, we raised over $30,000. At Street Hope Tn, we work to eliminate the sexual exploitation and trafficking of children in Tennessee and provide safe environments to foster hope and healing through Jesus Christ. We carry out our mission through:Awareness: The first step to eradicating slavery is letting people know it exists today. There are no limits to where this darkness can and will travel. We engage people through events, presentations, and educational programs.Prevention: We work hard to prevent child sexual exploitation from ever happening by equipping youth and adults with sexual exploitation and trafficking preventioneducation through our Project POST Curriculum, Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking (DMST) Trainings, and Internet Safety Trainings.Restoration: We built the first safe home in East TN for girls ages 12-17 who are victims of sex trafficking. When a girl enters our home, she enters a place of refuge where she can find rest, heal, grow and experience Christ’s redeeming love for her.Prayer: We know that bringing an end to sex trafficking can only be accomplished through regular prayer and seeking the Lord’s heart with each step. We facilitate prayer gatherings where believers come together boldly before the throne of the Lord and pray for freedom, justice, and restoration.

The "Protect Tennessee Minors Act" (Tennessee Senate Bill 1792) has been signed by Governor Bill Lee to be enacted on Jan. 1, 2025. This legislation requires any websites that contain a substantial portion of material harmful to minors to perform age-verification for anyone seeking to access the site.In other words, p*rnographic websites will now be required to verify that users are 18 or older before they can access the site. This is a huge step forward in protecting our children!A big THANK YOU to Tennessee Senator Becky Duncan Massey, Governor Lee and state legislators for recognizing the importance of keeping our kids safe online!
