WWE Clash at the Castle Glasgow tickets LIVE: Day 3 general sale launch (2024)

Glasgow is set to play host to wrestling fans from across the world when WWE's Clash at the Castle 2024 is held at the Ovo Hydro later this spring in Scotland's first ever WWE pay per view.

After two days of presales, the first of which saw more people than can actual fill the Hydro join the virtual queue to secure their spot, we're back this morning for the launch of the general sale, which will launch at 10am.

While Wednesday's ticket allocation sold out quickly, things were definitely a little slower yesterday - with plenty of higher priced tickets still available by the end of the day, including ringside tickets costing over £2,900 per person. We're expecting today's launch to include more tickets at the cheaper end of the scale - with prices starting from £175.

Today's starts at 10am here on Ticketmaster and is once again for combo tickets for Smackdown on Friday, June 14 and Clash at the Castle Glasgow on Saturday, June 15 - so the prices paid are effectively for two nights of tickets in the same seat.

As we've done all week, we will be bringing you live updates on the pre-sale for the show in our live blog below. Follow us for the very latest updates on ticket prices, Ticketmaster queues and more.

Also let us know how you're getting on by commenting on the blog, or via email or Twitter.

T Minus 45 minutes team

For many of us who've been holding their nerve all week hoping for cheaper tickets, today is likely to be a bit of a scramble. So, for sanity's sake and to ease the strain, here's my reminder on how to minimise the inevitable stress.

  • Have you bought through Ticketmaster before? Great. Check you can log in now, that (if you have one) your credit or debit card attached to the account is current and you're not going to be trying to pay with an out-of-date card, and that your home address is right and, crucially, the same as the billing address for the payment method you're going to use. Paying with Paypal instead? Great. Can you remember the password for that?
  • If you aren't a member of Ticketmaster yet, here's a word to the wise: Sign up now and fill in all of these things. You don't want to desperately try and fill the details in while a clock counts down how many seconds you have before the tickets of your dreams are released back into the wild for someone else to buy.
  • Also, make sure you're ready for the virtual waiting room. On sale time is 10am, we all know this. But this week's presales have seen a virtual waiting room open 15 minutes before. Make sure you're standing by early. I'll be keeping an eye on the link from half an hour before, but definitely consider checking Ticketmaster at least 15 minutes before as a minimum. Or, of course, keep this page open as I'll let you know as soon as the virtual queue opens both here and on Twitter.
  • Once you're ready to join the waiting room, consider using multiple devices - ideally one on Wifi and one or 4G or 5G so if you lose signal on one you have a back up. Also, if you use a VPN on your devices as a standard internet security measure pause it for now - from (slightly bitter) experience I know Ticketmaster doesn't like them - you don't want to be fighting with CAPTCHA codes part way through the process.

  • Also, if you're looking for the cheapest tickets make sure you set your search by lowest price so there's less faffing before you get offered the tickets you want. Just remember every ticket being sold today is for two nights - so effectively your per night price is half the final amount (this is the shopping logic I use when buying my tickets).

Remember, whatever you're choosing, this is the Ticketmaster link you'll need.

KEY EVENT

Welcome to day three

Well after two action packed days of pre-sale, it's finally the day to get general sale tickets for WWE Clash at the Castle Scotland.

My colleague Chris Burns has got some background on what happened the last two days in a story here, but if you're looking for information and advice on how to get the best out of today's launch I'm your woman and this is the page to keep open.

While demand has been huge both days so far, we're expecting today to be even bigger again when things start at 10am here on Ticketmaster as fans who've held their nerve to try and get cheaper seats have their last chance to snap them up.

Once again the sale is for combo tickets for Smackdown on Friday, June 14 and Clash at the Castle Glasgow on Saturday, June 15 - so the prices paid are effectively for two nights of tickets in the same seat.

As with the last two sales (and Ticketmaster generally), the virtual waiting room has opened around 15 minutes before the sale actually launched so we strongly recommend you join the virtual queue on Ticketmaster from around 9.45 am - although I'll be hitting refresh from about 9.30am in case anything goes live earlier and will update here as soon as I spot the change.

Lunchtime update

Well if we've learned one thing from two days of WWE Clash at the Castle presale it's that wrestling fans are pretty keen to get tickets but, if today's anything to go by, they're also looking for a bargain. The tickets at the cheaper end of the price brackets sold out quickly and while, as at 1pm, there's still some two-night tickets available, the cheapest comes in at £345.90 and others go up as high as £1,160.

See here for the current availability - you'll need to use the code WWEREACH to access the sale.

Narin Flanders

Well this is a suggestion...

The view from social media this morning is that most of the tickets available so far today are at the pricier end of the scale, and my experience is definitely reflective of that having spent the last half hour looking at ticket availability.

Twitter has come up with an interesting solution though:

Eesh, so the cheapest #ClashAtTheCastle tickets currently available costs more than my #BashInBerlin ticket AND 4 nights in a hotel. pic.twitter.com/cbfCz0KzjP

See here for the Ticketmaster presale today available using the WWEREACH code.

KEY EVENT

Day two presale is LIVE

I'm in much earlier than yesterday and tickets are available - but so far the cheapest tickets I've seen are £390 for two nights of seats.

As a reminder, this is the link you need for today's presale and the code is WWEREACH.

Narin Flanders

T minus 10 minutes...

The waiting room is finally live. This is the link you need for today's presale and new - hopefully lower priced tickets - will be live shortly.

The all-important code WWEREACH is the code you need for this morning's sale.

KEY EVENT

Welcome to day two

Well we're back and happy to help you navigate buying tickets for arguably the most exciting WWE Scottish wrestling event ever. If you missed our coverage yesterday scroll down for full details or read our roundup of what when down in our standalone story here.

Otherwise stick with us this morning for everything you need to know about how to get the best chance to get a Clash at the Castle Glasgow ticket today. As a reminder, today's ticket action kicks off at 10am with Partner Presales. This means GlasgowLive readers can get their own exclusive access to the sale as we've teamed up with WWE for today's presale. Readers simply need to use the code WWEREACH to access the presale when it launches.

KEY EVENT

Missed out on tickets today? All is not lost...

After an eventful morning it's looking like the Ticketmaster basket is empty now for combo tickets for the two nights. But if you missed out on getting seats in your budget don't despair. There's two more opportunities to get tickets this week:

I'll wrap up today's liveblog for now but join us tomorrow for the next presale and in the meantime, let me know how you got on with finding tickets either on Twitter or via email.

Narin Flanders

In the style of Michael Cole...

...now feels like a good point to mention that #ClashAtTheCastle is currently trending on Twitter/X in the UK. A look through the timeline suggests it's a mixture of giddy people who've secured tickets and people who haven't yet been able to.

Just remember, while today's Ticketmaster presale is the first chance to get combo tickets for the event there are two more chances, with a Partner Presale tomorrow and then general sale on Friday, both starting at 10am.

Fans who've already secured their seats for the two nights of shows can expect a pretty decent card. WWE has confirmed Undisputed WWE Champion 'The American Nightmare' Cody Rhodes, 'The Scottish Warrior' Drew McIntyre, 'The EST of WWE' Bianca Belair, WWE Women's Champion Bayley, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, 'The Viper' Randy Orton, 'The All Mighty' Bobby Lashley, Jade Cargill, Jey Uso, Kevin Owens, LA Knight and Iyo Sky will be part of proceedings although, as ever, these names are subject to change.

Narin Flanders

Ticket availability seems to be improving... sort of

I've finally been able to get some tickets in my Ticketmaster basket but, for now, they definitely seem to be at the higher end of the pricing brackets. I'm not seeing anything come up currently for £175, £232 or £289 level tickets, which would be appearing on either ground level or level three.

There's definitely some movement and some more Ticketmaster tickets seemingly floating about. Whether that's because there's additional allocation or people have abandoned their baskets I don't know, but it's definitely worth keeping trying if you've got your heart set on getting seats today although, remember to untick 'best available' or your options are going to be at the pricier end of the scale.

Remember, the Ticketmaster presale is currently live here. But also remember if you're looking at the prices and feeling a bit bereft, this is only day one. There's another presale tomorrow and also general sale on Friday to come yet.

Narin Flanders

Well I'm in... but there's nothing available

Well I am in and I have pricing information. Initial search says presale tickets are available between £175.65 and £2,945.50 each or £198.35 to £824.90 each for aisle seats but for me right now there's nothing coming up at all on Ticketmaster here.

I'll keep trying as, in previous sales, we see tickets come back into the general pool that are in people's baskets but then discarded by the time they pay.

Right now though it's fair to say demand for these tickets is pretty high indeed. Could we just cut to the chase and have a UK Wrestlemania please. Drew McIntyre and John Cena have both asked for it - at that point it's pretty much a shoo-in right?

Narin Flanders

Ticket sales moving fast

...so I've heard! I'm still 2,000 people away from the front of the queue despite joining the virtual waiting room early, but if Twitter is anything to go by there are lots of people struggling to get tickets.

This Tweet seems to sum up the general feeling in my Twitter timeline right now:

Judging by the queue and some of the prices, #ClashAtTheCastle should have been at Murrayfield

— Mick (@MickM90) April 24, 2024

Tickets are available on Ticketmaster right now here. Watch this space for info on pricing and availability when I finally get in.

Early ticket information

We're at T minus 45 minutes for the presale onsale time and, so far, all is quiet. Despite repeated refreshes of my email I haven't had my presale code email through yet (have you? Let me know on Twitter/X here) and there's no waiting room yet. Remember this is the all important link for booking tickets when the time comes.

We do have some time to look at seating and ticket pricing although, so far, the information is scant.

According to the OVO Hydro website, SmackDown and Clash At The Castle ticket prices will range from £145.30 - £3,124.65.

We'll see how that breaks down once everything goes live. The other interesting thing about the Hydro is there's no obvious area that would be the entrance ramp so fans on floor level wanting a good view of both that and the ring are going to be guessing a little bit for now.

Everything you need to know to make this morning as stress-free as possible

WWE fans in the UK have been a bit spoiled over the last couple of years with pay per views here. Having made us wait three decades since Summerslam 92 we've been inundated with them in the last couple of years - with Clash at the Castle in Cardiff and Money in the Bank at The O2 coming in quick succession and now Scotland getting their first too. But anyone who has tried to get tickets for any of these events know how stressful it can be doing so. As a veteran of many a Ticketmaster scramble, here's my top tips on what to do to minimise the inevitable stress. You'll thank me later.

But previous WWE PPVs have seen a virtual waiting room open 15 minutes before, and we know from previous events Ticketmaster has opened them even earlier to try and manage server load.

  • Also, try and get an idea of what ticket type you're after - if you search by either lowest price if you're on a budget or for the specific band rather than the default 'best available' there will be less faffing before you get offered the tickets you want. Just remember every ticket being sold today is for two nights - so effectively your per night price is half the final amount (this is the shopping logic I use when buying my tickets).

Remember, whatever you're choosing, this is the Ticketmaster link you'll need.

KEY EVENT

The one thing you need to do RIGHT NOW to make sure you can access today's presale

We're less than three hours away from the first tickets for WWE Clash at the Castle Glasgow going on sale and, factoring in not just the Ovo Hydro's capacity but the fact that British WWE fans are so enthusiastic right now that they sold out more than 16,000 tickets at London's O2 on Friday in what has been confirmed as WWE's biggest ever house show in history, we're expecting demand to be fierce today for the first tickets to the show.

There are going to be three separate ticket launches for the event over the next few days (more about that later) but for now to get tickets this morning the most important thing you need to know - and do, if you haven't yet - is sign up for WWE's presale access here.

Fans trying to get tickets today can do so on Ticketmaster from 10am but to get in you're going to need a code from the email WWE is set to send out beforehand. WWE confirmed yesterday they would be sending out the email 'shortly before' the onsale time, so on that basis you've got around another two hours to sign up.
