The owner of Jonte Jewelry, Monmouth Road in Six Flags OutletMall, reported a theft of $30,000 worth of jewelry from an unlocked safe in a backroom at the shop Jan. 31. Patrolman Clayton Dewyea took the report and Detective Mitch Cowit is conducting an investigation into the theft believed to have happened between 3 and 4 the prior afternoon.
