My Hero Academia Chapter 426 Preview: The Todoroki Family Endgame (2024)

My Hero Academia chapter 426 is all set to return later this week and fans are incredibly excited to see their beloved Heroes on their screens once again. The story took an extended break due to unknown reasons earlier this month, and now, fans are excited to see the epilogue of this brilliant story that has lasted for around a decade finally continue.

My Hero Academia chapter 426 has some of the most exciting plot points to tackle, such as the growth of the students, the mystery man who was seen in the previous chapter of the manga, and most importantly, the story surrounding the Todoroki family, which all fans have their eyes glued on at this point in time. All things point to MHA chapter 426 being absolutely massive, and now, it is just a few days away.

The Todoroki Family Plotline Continues

Endeavor Could Take Big Steps In My Hero Academia Chapter 426

Quite easily, the most important part of My Hero Academia chapter 426 is going to be the plot surrounding the Todoroki family. This family has been very important in My Hero Academia right from the beginning and Horikoshi has managed to create a very dysfunctional, but at the same time, complex family in them. Of course, the vast majority of the problems of this family stem from Endeavor, the man who spent a significant portion of his life abusing his family in order to see his personal goals of surpassing All Might be fulfilled. Eventually, Endeavor saw the error in his ways, and realized that he could not take away the pain that he inflicted on his children, and at the same time, his wife.

However, Endeavor did embark on a journey to make things better. He does not want forgiveness, because, at this point, he certainly cannot be forgiven for what he has done. The only thing he can do with whatever little life that he has left is make things better and do whatever it takes to ensure that the family is happy from here onwards. That is precisely what he has been doing and Endeavor needs to continue to stay on that path if his character arc is to come a full circle.

Towards the end of the previous chapter, fans saw Endeavor in a wheelchair, likely at a hospital. While he was certainly injured himself, it doesn't appear that he is a cause of concern right now. Instead, his son, Toya, seems to be in a very critical condition, passed out from the injuries that he received in the Final War. Endeavor is going to be talking to Toya Todoroki once he wakes up and this could potentially happen in My Hero Academia chapter 426.

This would also parallel Toya's first serious injury. Back then, he really wanted to see his family, but he had nobody around him. He expected his father to be there at the very least, but his absence left a hole in his heart. This time around, Endeavor will be there for his children, and he will try to make amends where he can. Of course, Toya does not have to forgive him, and, likely, he won't. However, this will make for a fascinating plot point and a proper conclusion to this story arc as well. At the same time, the other members of the Todoroki family, such as Shoto, and Rei, among others, will likely be present in the upcoming chapter. The entire Todoroki family needs a proper conclusion, given that they have been through a lot of trauma and have dealt with many hardships because of Endeavor. They deserve peace of mind and happiness, and steps towards that could be taken in My Hero Academia chapter 426.

The Mystery Person To Be Revealed?

My Hero Academia Chapter 426 Could Reveal The Mysterious Person's Identity

MHA chapter 426 is also likely going to focus on the mystery person who appeared in the previous chapter. Fans do not know who this mystery person is. All they could see was that he had black hair, and his clothes resembled Kurogiri somehow. The primary guess that anyone would have is that this person is Shirakumo, however, fans already know that Shirakumo is dead and that he cannot possibly come back to life.

Even if he did come back to life, he did not have black hair, which confuses the fans as to who this mystery person is. Perhaps, Kurogiri is now a real person having somehow changed from being engulfed in clouds into the person that he is right now.

Perhaps, Shirakumo underwent some sort of transformation and this resulted in him turning into the person that fans saw towards the end of the last chapter. Nobody can say what's going on for sure right now, and only the author can provide the fans with the answer to this question. All fans know right now is that they need to keep their eyes on this mystery individual and his identity could potentially be revealed. Right now, the only person that fans can think of when it comes to the identity of this person is either Kurogiri or Shirakumo, in one way or another.

Fans absolutely cannot wait to see what Horikoshi does with this plotline, and of course, given that this is the epilogue, it is going to have a lot of significance, otherwise, it simply would not be here. If it were to be Shirakumo somehow, then fans would be absolutely delighted to see him meet up with the likes of Aizawa and Present Mic once again and continue living a happy life.

However, another intriguing idea is that this mystery person could actually be Tenko Shimura. Fans know that Shigaraki died in the Final War after Deku punched him. However, If Horikoshi used that moment to signify that Shigaraki died while Tenko was rebirthed, it would be the perfect ending to this series. While Shigaraki was a villain, he was led down the path by none other than All For One and groomed. This is why fans were not entirely satisfied with the ending that he got and hope for a better resolution through this mystery man if it does truly turn out to be Tenko.

Along with all that, fans will also likely see more of Class 2-A in My Hero Academia chapter 426. Given that these are the protagonists of the story, the author will likely include them here and there, and perhaps draw the farewell that was being spoken of in the previous chapter. The students of this class are victims of war and they certainly have suffered quite a lot. Now, it is time for them to enjoy life, and some light-hearted moments here and there, so that they get the proper endings they deserve.
